Within the International Decorative Artisan League (IDAL) are a mere handful of artists that have achieved the Certified Stenciling Artisan (CSA) designation; Eva Gallant is one such member, having earned her CSA in 2013. This certification validates extensive training and education in the decorative art of stenciling.
The process provides tremendous artistic freedom and a great way to showcase their creativity as they incorporate and must be successful in all four categories of style and design that include walls, fabric, wood and stencil cutting. Applicants are juried anonymously by leaders in their field and measured for superior competency and technical abilities as related to measurement and placement, as well as coordination of color and design.
